I am so excited about this Sunday! We will be continuing our series "Hot Topics" and I will be talking about Politics and the Bible. YOU DON'T WANT TO MISS THIS!! Not only are we talking about one of the hottest topics, but we have a special little gift for everyone who attends our Sunday worship experience. See ya Sunday!!!

* Only 59 days until Easter Sunday! We get to celebrate Jesus miraculous resurrection and invite our community to a special Sunday experience! Begin to pray for our community - that we would be able to reach people far from Jesus!

* Speaking of only 59 days......we secured our BRATTLEBORO meeting space! It's so exciting to see everything come together for this unique opportunity that we have to reach out to a community that is far from Jesus. Please continue for FAVOR and SUCCESS as we approach the launch in April.

* I am so pumped about Life Groups getting started this week! We had a great response and I know that Jesus is going to use this as a time for tremendous growth  and amazing community for many.

* REMEMBER: On 2/19, 2/26 and 3/4 we will be meeting in the UV Senior Center. Because of our growth and the limited space in the Senior Center, we will have 2 worship experience times 9 & 11am. It's always a nice change of pace and a little more cozy when we get to meet in the Senior Center!

I'm so grateful for what Jesus is doing here at Riverbank Church. As I say often, GREATER THINGS ARE COMING!!!

If you did not sign up for a Life Group unfortunately, it's too late! We had a great response to our Spring 2012 Life Group semester! Remember, if you signed up for a Life Group, you will be hearing from your Life Group leader this week. We are so excited to hear of the relationships and community that is going to be built over the next weeks and months!

SERIES: Hot Topics

This week we continue taking a look at what the Bible has to say about certain hot topics! This week we will talk about Politics (2/12). So make sure you invite your friends, family, co-workers and neighbors to find out what the Bible has to say about these pressing topics!

Other Hot Topics: God's Will (2/19) and Heaven and Hell (2/26).

Brattleboro UPDATE:

As you all know we are launching our first location in Vermont on Easter Sunday (4/8/12). We are so thrilled how Jesus is already showing us favor in this very unchurched community. We are in the process of securing our meeting place and will begin purchasing all of the equipment necessary to launch to the community in just 2 short months!

Our Launch Team has been meeting every week and even has walked the various neighborhoods praying for the families. How exciting to be a part of a church that seeks to reach Vermont and New Hampshire with the life changing message of Jesus!

PRAY: Please take the time as a church community and pray for our launch in Brattleboro. We believe that Jesus is going to do GREAT things in this area - and YOU are a part of this!
