Beginning Sunday June 2 we will have 2 opportunities for you and your families to worship at Riverbank Church! Our first worship time will be at 9am and the second will be at 11am. Child Dedication is a celebration where parents commit to raise their children to one day know Jesus Christ and help them to grow in their faith. They will promise to model the teachings of Jesus and share His love. It is a celebration where family and friends are encouraged to support and pray for their special little one.

Hey church!

Christmas came and went and now we look towards our New Year! I really believe that 2013 will be the GREATEST year ever! Theres no reason to NOT believe that! As we seek to reach Vermont and New Hampshire for Jesus more opportunities will arise as we fearlessly dig in to this vision.  

Our Christmas Eve Celebration on Monday was AMAZING! We saw hundreds of people stream into the Lebanon Opera House. HOW EXCITING?

I was BLOWN AWAY by the army of Servants on Christmas Eve. If you were a part, HUGE THANK YOU!!

We saw more than 15 people acknowledge their need to receive the gift of salvation through Jesus on Monday. CELEBRATE!!!

We have raised OVER $30,000 for our B!G FAITH Offering so far! If we raise $100,000 by 12/31 than a generous donor will match that on 1/1! LETS DO THIS!!!!

I can't believe this is the last month of the year! It's amazing how fast time flies! I hope you are enjoying this season of family, friends and JESUS! Yep, remember that this season we anticipate and so celebrate started with Jesus!

Hello church!
I hope you all had an AMAZING Thanksgiving holiday. We had a great time as family came in from out of town and we enjoyed a few nice days together. We really do have a lot to be thankful for, don't we!

It's hard to believe that Christmas is right around the corner! We have some very exciting music, arts and message series prepared for our church community this season. Plan on being encouraged and refreshed!

I have really enjoyed our current series "Our Stories". It has been really great to hear stories of Bible personalities and people from within our own church community. DON'T MISS THIS SUNDAY!

Last week we launched the B!G FAITH Offering. I am so FIRED UP to be prepare for the permanent equipping, sending and worship center the Jesus has for our church!

Our Servant Teams are THE GREATEST! I am so thankful for each and every person who sacrifices every week to serve Jesus and this church community!

HAPPY THANKSGIVING RIVERBANK!

We all have so much to be thankful for, don't we? Think about it, we have been so blessed as people. We have electricity, running water and food whenever we need it. I really could go on and on, but I think we all know that we have a lot to be thankful for. Ultimately I am most thankful for that fact that Jesus died on the cross for my sin and rose form the dead 3 days later! I am thankful for SALVATION! 


This week we continue our series "Our Stories". You don't want to miss hearing the stories of people from within our church community AND from the Bible! We all have a story to tell - TELL IT!!

I missed preaching last Sunday, but Dylan did an AWESOME job! I can't wait to be back in the saddle this Sunday!

I can't believe that Christmas is around the corner! Start thinking about who you will invite to our special Christmas Eve experience in the Lebanon Opera House!

Hey Church!

ISN'T JESUS AMAZING?? As I write this I am blown away by the work of God not only in our church community but in all of New England. I continue to hear about churches who are committed to the spreading of the Good News of Jesus. There is a revival breaking out in New England and WE ARE A PART OF IT!!! I really believe that greater things are yet to come as we seek to reach Vermont and New Hampshire with the message of Jesus!

I had a BLAST meeting at the Fireside Inn this past Sunday. I look forward to one more Sunday there this week. WILL YOU join me in packing out this very unique environment as we celebrate Jesus together??

No matter who you voted for on Tuesday, I want to remind you from 1 Timothy 1:1-2 "I urge you, first of all, to pray for all people. Ask God to help them; intercede on their behalf, and give thanks for them. 2 Pray this way for kings and all who are in authority so that we can live peaceful and quiet lives marked by godliness and dignity."

After Sundays message on generosity from our "money" series I was blown away to hear about many people from our church community who have been moved to be generous. I believe that Jesus is going to use Riverbank Church to make an impact in our community through our generosity!!

I love my church!! I'm so grateful for each and everyone of you! I'm blown away by the 95 of you who serve at least once a month in the various areas of ministry here at Riverbank! JESUS BE GLORIFIED!!

Hello Church!

As we all watched Hurricane Sandy move her way up the East Coast it was a reminder that life can change quickly. As we watch New Jersey and New York dig out from the devastation, I am thankful for the very basic things in life - shelter, heat, running water and electricity. Lets keep our neighbors to the south in our prayers but let it also be a reminder that in just a few days everything that we are used to can be gone. Personally I am reminded that only with Jesus as the center can I have strength through and after the storm and devastation.

BAPTISM WAS AWESOME this past Sunday! If you were not there you can check out a quick video of the awesomeness HERE! There is nothing better than when people make their faith public through water baptism.

We are meeting at the Fireside Inn for the next 2 Sundays! Honestly, I think it is so cool that Jesus is giving us the opportunity to celebrate Him and share His message in the most unique and public places. I HOPE TO SEE YOU THERE ON SUNDAY!

Over the past several weeks we have been promoting Operation Christmas Child. YOU RESPONDED by sponsoring over 100 children this Christmas - CELEBRATE church!

I can't wait to share with my personal journey of experiencing generosity and being generous. JESUS impacted my life personally and I can't wait to share it THIS SUNDAY!!

EXCITING TIMES!

I continue to be so BLOWN AWAY by what Jesus is doing in our church community. I really believe that greater things are coming as we see more of our neighbors, coworkers, family and friends have an encounter with our risen savior KING JESUS! I believe we can count on our Lord to give us the opportunities to share Jesus with those in our lives - and invite them to our Sunday Worship Experience!

Just a couple of thoughts from me to you:

THE STREAK CONTINUES - 13 straight weeks where at least 1 person has received the gift of salvation from Jesus at Riverbank Church!! Let's keep inviting our friends!!

We launched our NEW on-line worship experience - RIVERBANK LIVE this week! On Tuesday we debuted with 116 people participating from 13 different states!! What an opportunity to be able to share Riverbank Church with our neighbors, coworkers, friends and family from all over the country and the world! If you want to check it out you can do so HERE.

We are Baptizing this Sunday - I LOVE THIS! There is nothing more exciting than seeing people take their faith public!

Can I tell you how thrilled I am to be a small part of one of the most unique moves of God in all of America? What an honor it is to be a part of Riverbank Church. I have the distinct privilege of talking and interacting with all the people who's lives are being radically impacted by the message of Jesus. WHATEVER HAPPENS. This has been the theme for my life and our church recently. As most of you know we will no longer be meeting in the Rivermill Center. If you are not in the loop with this I would encourage you to watch this past Sundays message HERE for the whole story. I continue to be blown away by the stories of lives being impacted by the message of Jesus here at Riverbank Church. 



*Join us this Sunday as we continue our marriage/relationship series "Take a Vow". This week we will discuss the idea of partnership and what this means in a marriage relationship.



*Yet again, this past Sunday we saw 2 more people cross over from death into eternal life! THIS NEVER GETS OLD - celebrate church!!

*I am really FIRED UP to be back in the Lebanon Opera House this Sunday. LETS PACK IT OUT!!

Hello Church!

Can you believe that it's football season ALREADY! As a huge fan of the game it gets me fired up when my college and pro teams play each weekend - BUT you know what gets me MORE fired up? What Jesus is doing in our church! It blows me away that in such a short period of time Jesus had done such an amazing work here at Riverbank. Quite honestly, I believe the best is yet to come and we must anticipate that the God of this Universe is up to something special in Vermont and New Hampshire!
I wanted to share a few quick things with you in regards to our church community....

• Since January we have seen 48 people give their lives to Jesus and 25 water baptisms at Riverbank Church!
• Over the summer our Sunday Worship Experience attendance has increased more than 50%!
• Last Sunday we asked you all to write down 5 names of people you would pray for and invite to Riverbank Church. I have been praying for you to have courage in this!
• I'm so pumped to begin a new series on marriage entitled "Take a Vow".  I believe that many from our church community with be impacted deeply.
• I can't wait to share with you all some exciting news happening in our church THIS SUNDAY! Don't miss it!
• I am so grateful the many people who serve in our church in various capacities. It's humbling to see people serving in our Worship, Kids and Connect Ministries each and every week. THANK YOU!

Hello Church!

I gotta tell you I'm so fired up because of what Jesus is doing at our church! There are a few things I would like to share with you......

• This summer alone we have seen dozens begin their journey with Jesus and enjoyed meeting many new people who have relocated to the region.
• Do you realize that we are a part of one of the most unique moves of God in America? What an honor to be a part!
• Last Sunday week broke an attendance record between both locations! WE ARE IN THE MIDDLE OF THE SUMMER!!!! Wow!!
• This Sunday we will have a baptism at our Lebanon location. There is nothing more exciting than to see people publicly proclaim their faith in Jesus!!
• We had a Mission Team from Southbrook Church in Charlotte, NC at our Brattleboro location last Sunday. They were such an encouragement to our church community and really were able to spend some quality time with our team in Brattleboro.
• You all have BLOWN MY MIND by your diligence to get the word out to your friends, co-workers, neighbors and family about Riverbank Church. We have had over 100 guests this summer alone! GO JESUS!
• I am so thankful for everyone who has accepted the Serve Challenge from the past 2 weeks. I can't wait to see new faces Serving in the various areas of ministry here in our church community!!

Wow, what a summer! I am so thrilled about what Jesus is doing in the life of this church. It was just 2 years ago were experiencing our first amazing New England summer - it just keeps getting better! I wanted to take a minute to share a few things with you all:

* Just a couple of weeks ago, between both locations, we had our largest non-Holiday attended Sunday. IN THE MIDDLE OF THE SUMMER! Blows my mind.

* Remember to invite your friends, co-workers, neighbors and family to check out what is going on in our church community. You'd be surprised if you JUST ASK!

* Our Starting Point environment is going strong in Lebanon. It's so encouraging to hear about the community that is being built, but more importantly, the spiritual growth of those participating! If you have never participated in a Starting Point, YOU SHOULD!!!

* Our Servant Teams are ah-mazing! Every week we see our Road Team, Riverbank Kids, Connect Team and Worship Team servants MAKE IT HAPPEN!! Thank you for your part in making the vision a reality!

* We have seen more than 30 people begin a relationship with Jesus SINCE JANUARY! That's what it's all about!!

* We have been called to reach Vermont and New Hampshire with the message of Jesus - THE BEST IS YET TO COME!!!

Hello church!
Well, summer is in full swing - the kids are out of school, vacations are being planned (or executed) and the weather has been gorgeous! I am so thankful for this time of year. I wanted to take a few lines here to share some quick thoughts and reminders with you......

REMINDER: this is a great time of year to invite your friends, family, co-workers and neighbors to Riverbank Church! We are BIGFOOT CHURCH - a church where EVERYONE is welcome!

If you are going away on vacation and would like to set up your Tithe and Offering onilne, you can do so HERE. It's a fast, easy and effective way to give while you are away!

I am blown away by the move of God here at Riverbank Church! Do you know that we have seen more than 20 people begin their relationship with Jesus in the past 2 and half months?? WOW!

I have SO enjoyed our study in the book of Judges "Heroes and Villains". How cool is it to see regular men and women be used by the God of this universe from over 3,000 years ago? It's so encouraging to me because God used people just like you and I to do great things for HIS SAKE!

Hey church! 

Memorial Day weekend is the unofficial launch of summer in New England - Bring it on! With summer in mind it reminds me that we live in one of the most beautiful places in America! Lets use the coming days, weeks and months to reach people with the life changing message of Jesus!!!

Speaking of which - we have seen 13 people place their trust in Jesus over the past several weeks. GO JESUS!!

Last Sunday we celebrated the baptism of 6 people who publicly proclaimed their relationship with Jesus. THIS NEVER GETS OLD!!

I hope you are taking time each and every day to get in the God's Word so that you are growing closer to Jesus. This is crucial to spiritual growth.

I am SO PUMPED to preach from John 3-4 this Sunday. I will be sharing vision and direction for Riverbank Church as we go into the summer season - YOU DO NOT WANT TO MISS IT!!!

Hello!!

Well, spring has sprung  - there is nothing more beautiful than the bright green trees and blooming flowers!! I am so thankful that I live in such a beautiful four-season region like New England!! Spring is here and that means that there are some exciting things happening within our church community.....

• Baptism is SO exciting! Nothing is better than seeing people take their faith public.
• Over the past month we have seen 10 people give their lives to Jesus!! COME ON NOW CHURCH - this is what it's all about! Lives eternally changed by Jesus!!
• Mothers Day is THIS SUNDAY!! I'm so thankful for my Mom - she has been such an example of a servant to me over my life time!
• I was just looking at our attendance comparison. As a church our attendance is UP 62% this year alone. Needless to say, I AM PUMPED!!!!!
• On May 27th we are launching a summer campaign that will empower you to invite your friends, family, neighbors and co-workers to church through out the summer - STAY TUNED!!
• You are the GREATEST church ever! I am so thankful that I get to serve you and lead this church - GREATER THINGS ARE YET TO COME!!

EASTER IS ALMOST HERE! I can't wait to pack the Lebanon Opera House and the Quality Inn in Brattleboro! I believe that Jesus is going to perform a miracle in the lives of many on April 8th as we seek to reach 500! This is a unique time of year in which we can invite friends, family, coworkers and neighbors to church and it's not a weird exchange. SO - who have you invited? I am praying that Jesus gives you tremendous courage as you invite people to or Easter Celebrations in Lebanon and Brattleboro!

I believe that Jesus is doing something remarkable in our church! What an honor to be a part of this supernatural move of God.

Hey everyone!

*Only 16 days until Easter Sunday!

*Who will you be inviting to our Easter Celebration? We ALL have friends, family, neighbors and co-workers that would come out if we would simply would ask. Let’s reach the goal of 500 this Easter together!

*Yes, we will be giving away an iPad this Easter Celebration.The purpose of this is to draw people in who will here the life-changing message of Jesus! YES, God can use an iPad to draw people unto Himself!

*We will begin the distribution of tickets for our Easter Celebration. Of course they are free, but they provide a great way to invite those loved ones you are praying for!

Here are a few thoughts for you.....!

* Only 23 days until Easter Sunday!

* Who are you praying about inviting to our Easter Celebration? Each and every one of us has friends, family, neighbors and co-workers that would come out if you simply would ask. So, get that list together and let’s reach the goal of 500 this Easter together!

*We will be giving away an iPad this Easter Celebration. On Sunday March 25th we will begin the distribution of these tickets. Of course they are free, but they provide a great way to invite those loved ones you are praying for!

* Last Sunday we had our first preview at our Brattleboro location! It was so exciting for our team to finally practice setting up and tearing down in preparation for the Easter Sunday launch! Please pray for Dylan and crew as they seek to reach a very unique community with the life changing message of Jesus!

*Also on Sunday we had the privilege to baptize 8 more people! Its such an amazing moment when people make their faith public by water baptism! We will have another one in May, stay tuned!!

* RANDOM THOUGHT: How about this weather? I am convinced that Jesus is giving a break this year because of last years crazy BIG SNOW winter!

* We have such an AMAZING team of servants at Riverbank Church. From our Connect Team to our Worship and Arts Team to the MOST IMPORTANT Riverbank Kids servants. Every one of you are amazing and living out the example Jesus gave us!!

* This Sunday is going to be one of THE GREATEST in Riverbank history! The bank will be leading us in one of the most POWERFUL worship songs ever! DON’T MISS IT!

I hope you all had an awesome Christmas!! I know it was great for our family as we celebrated the coming of our savior Jesus. As we approach the New Year remember that I believe that Jesus has some exciting times that lie ahead for us - ARE YOU READY??

*Our Christmas Eve Experience was UNBELIEVABLE! We had a record attendance and have been able to follow up with 9 people who asked Jesus to be their Savior and Forgiver that evening!

*I believe we are learning that FOUND PEOPLE, FIND PEOPLE!

*I love New Year because it's a naturally built in time for me to restart my work out regiment :) What have you set out to do in 2012?

*2012 is going to be the greatest year EVER! I can't wait to see what happens not only in my life personally, but in the life our our church community.

*I believe this will also be a year of harvest in all of New England - thousands of people beginning their journey with Jesus! What an honor to be a part of this move of God.

Hello!

I'm so excited about this season in which we celebrate the birth of our savior Jesus! Think about it - we get to celebrate Jesus for whole month and people do not even get offended when you say His name!! We will have so many opportunities in the next several weeks to not only connect with our own church community but to invite our community as a whole to certain events and activities centered around the birth of Jesus!

*This weekend we have the opportunity of a lifetime! Joe Sangl will be here communicating to us and sharing with us some very important truths and ideas about finances. I believe that there are people in our church and in our community lives will be changed for ever in regards to their finances this weekend!

*On Saturday, December 10 we will have our second annual ladies Christmas tea. Men you're not invited but I must say I'm excited to hear that our lady's are going to be getting together and serving each other and experiencing together the love of Jesus in a very unique environment.

*We had a worship night scheduled for December 14 but unfortunately I had to make a hard decision. We will not have worship night that evening you to the craziness of our schedules. But do not fear, you will have a worship night soon and I mean soon!

*Did you know that Sunday, November 27 was our most attended non-holiday Sunday ever! I'm so blown away by the work of Jesus in the lives of our church community. You guys are responding by bringing your friends, your coworkers, your neighbors and your family. Stories will be coming soon of how lives have been changed for ever!

*Start thinking about and praying for the people or the person that you will be inviting to our Christmas Eve experience in a few weeks. Last year we saw several people receive Jesus and their lives have been radically and forever changed! Do not miss this opportunity to invite your friends to a very unique environment where Jesus name will be lifted on high and he will be made famous!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Paul says in 1 Thessalonians 5:18 "Be thankful in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you who belong to Christ Jesus." So Christian, what are you thankful for? Your family? Your relationship with Jesus? Your job? Make it a point to be thankful, it's the will of God! There are a few things swirling around in my head that I would like to share with you:

*Thanksgiving is my FAVORITE holiday. Nothing better than family, friends, food and of course FOOTBALL! Especially tomorrow as my Dolphins play!

*We have had a tremendous response to our "How to be Rich" series. You DO NOT want to miss this Sunday as we talk about the deceitfulness of money.

*Our Staff is the most amazing team of servants in the world! The sacrifice and willingness to serve and lead in this church community is the heart of Jesus - we are blessed to have such an awesome staff!

*This Christmas season will be our second as a church community and we have some amazing opportunities planned for you! The Ladies Tea, Worship Night and of course our annual Christmas Eve Experience at the Opera House - make sure you participate!

Hey there!
Can you believe that it's already mid-November and we are staring down the upcoming Holiday season? Crazy how fast time flies. It seems like yesterday that we were putting in the window air conditioning units preparing for the summer. Gotta love the seasons though!

I wanted to share a few things with you:

*We are beginning a new series this week entitled "How to be Rich". If you haven't heard, or even guessed, it's a series taking a look at what the Bible has to say about money. YOU DO NOT WANT TO MISS A SINGLE WEEK!!! Also, we will be offering a FREE Financial Learning Experience after church on 12/4. This will be an opportunity of a lifetime!

*Yesterday I went to Brattleboro. I can't wait for us to launch Riverbank Church there in April! This is going to be one of the most exciting things we have done as a church community! It blows my mind there is a town in our region that is this spiritually desperate. Great things are coming! Pray and consider your participation!

*With all of the recent headlines of Occupy this and political debate that, it makes me depend on Jesus all the more! Man will disappoint and let us down, JESUS NEVER WILL! Don't forget THIS church!

*I keep hearing ridiculous God-stories from our Life Groups. So cool to know that lives are being impacted, relationships are being built and our church community is being strengthened through them!

*Last week we had a bunch of ladies from our church community participate in the Women of Faith event in Hartford, CT. I can't wait to share with you the stories of lives that were impacted during this amazing event!

*Worship Night is coming in just a few weeks (see below). YOU DO NOT want to miss this mid-week opportunity to celebrate Jesus name in the midst of the hectic Holiday season. Matt and the band have some AMAZING songs to lead us in!

I just wanted to take a minute and share some quick thoughts with you all.

• I am so BLOWN AWAY by your heart to see others participate in our Sunday morning worship experience.
  
• Last week we had a our largest non-holiday attendance EVER!We baptized 8 people on Sunday. So amazing to see lives who are being transformed by the life changing message of Jesus! This NEVER gets old.
• We had our FIRST Brattleboro Launch Team meeting this past Sunday. 6 of us met and talked about the Riverbank Church vision based out of Nehemiah 1-2. SO POWERFUL!
• In the past month we have seen several lives surrendered to Jesus! Lives changed for ETERNITY! You are a part of this.....how exciting!
• Start to pray about your part of the upcoming Christmas Offering. This year we are giving 100% of this special offering to our Brattleboro Launch. More info to come very soon!
• With Christmas in mind, start praying for those neighbors, co-workers, friends and family that you can invite to our Christmas Eve Experience this year. This is a GREAT opportunity to reach out to people who are far from Jesus!
• Church, I am so thankful for each of you! It is undeniable that Jesus is doing something very special in this community. I believe greater things are yet to come!
